The CADCentre UK Ltd is an approved provider of Apprenticeships, based in Swansea and Newport working in partnership with the Welsh Government to provide high–quality vocational education and training in the workplace without incurring any financial costs to the employer whatsoever. The scheme leads to nationally recognised vocational qualifications from Agored.

 

These training courses are ways of improving the effectiveness of your current workforce, but they are also attractive benefits for ambitious people. Training and developing your staff can increase their productivity whilst bringing something valuable to your organisation. Staff members can build their skills, therefore increasing their confidence and productivity to your business.

 

All courses are available at both Intermediate (level 2) and Advanced (level 3).

Using IT (Digital Media & Content Management)

Using IT (with Computer Aided Design)

Supporting Learning & Teaching in Schools

 

Eligibility for these courses is as follows:

 

 

Staff must have a contract of employment, working a minimum of 16 hours a week. They cannot be receiving funding for training already and must have been an EU citizen for at least 3 years.

Self-employed

 

Cannot have a degree or equivalent.

 

In current job role for less than 12 months.

Or

Self employed

Or

Aged 16-19

 

Cannot have a degree in a similar subject.

 

 This programme is funded by Welsh Government and part-financed by the ESF.

 

‘Staff may be able to access funding if they have been given additional duties within their role and require additional training to help them upskill’.

 

All training is delivered on your premises at times convenient to the business, site visits typically taking place every 3-4 weeks and lasting approximately 90 minutes per person. Candidates are expected to be able to commit to around 60 minutes of work outside these visits per month. Courses are modular and structured around the individual needs and job roles of each learner.
