Each year the Chamber offers its charity members the chance to submit a tender to become its Charity of the Year.
The chosen charity will be the beneficiary of any fundraising activities undertaken by the Chamber through its events and other profile-raising benefits and opportunities. They will also benefit from any internal activity in the Chamber office throughout the 2017/18 financial year.
The 2016/17 Charity of the Year was Guide Dogs Cymru.
Responses to this invite should include, but not be limited to, details of:
- How the charity will utilise the opportunity of being the Chamber’s chosen Charity of the Year, and
- Explain how they will guarantee that any funds generated will be used for the benefit of South Wales
Only registered charities that are members of South Wales Chamber of Commerce need respond to this tender opportunity.
The chosen charity, as well as being the only Chamber-supported charity for that term, will have their logo included on event flyers where appropriate and details of the charity will be included in our quarterly Chamber Chat magazine.
Submissions for this opportunity need to be with Rebecca Davies by Friday 3rd March to be considered and the winning charity will be announced week commencing, Monday 27th March 2017.
Submissions can be sent by email to email@example.com
