SPTS TECHNOLOGIES

SPTS Technologies designs and manufactures etch and deposition equipment used to make a wide range of semiconductor devices for end-products such as smartphones, LED lighting, games consoles, cars and many other consumer goods used in everyday life. We are headquartered in Newport, South Wales, with the majority of our products manufactured here in the UK with around 280 employees based here. Typically over 95% of our products are exported overseas. We also have a small manufacturing operation in Allentown Pennsylvania, and Sales/Service offices located close to our customers in Taiwan, China, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, USA, France and Germany, employing a further 190 people overseas. In other countries (like India, UAE, Russia, Italy, and the Czech Republic) with less demand for semiconductor processing equipment, we operate through a network of authorised agents.

T B DAVIES

T B Davies (Cardiff) Ltd is a fourth generation family run business, run from our National Distribution Centre in Cardiff Bay. We sell Ladders and Access Equipment, promoting safe Working at Height practices. We also run a Working at Height Training Centre from our offices. We sell both nationally and internationally, with an opportunity to export becoming more attractive to our overseas customers since the Brexit referendum and weakening of the pound.

WOLFESTONE

Wolfestone was launched in September 2006 as a privately-limited company by Roy Allkin and Anna Bastek, the company directors and owners. Not content with their experiences with language service providers (LSPs) they decided to raise the standards of the language industry and started their own translation business. The company, which started out with small certificate translations in 2006, has grown into the biggest translation company in Wales, one of the five fastest growing translation businesses in the UK and the 25th largest translation company in Northern Europe. In September 2016, Wolfestone celebrated its 10th year in business with a big gala dinner at Swansea Marriot Hotel. In November 2016, Wolfestone relocated its HQ from Walter Road to 220 High Street, Urban Village, in Swansea. Wolfestone is now employing over 30 people and also provides a multimedia service through its sister company, VoiceBox. The company has also seen a big increase in its number of clients, including the NHS, Oxfam, Welsh Government and FIFA.
